Sophie Vermeulen is an award-winning tattoo artist specializing in blackwork and dotwork—designs that travel the world, from Tokyo to New York, but always come home to Amsterdam. Her work is intricate. Timeless. Full of quiet precision and loud confidence.
Her old site didn’t show that. It blurred what should have been sharp. So we built a new one that hits instantly—and holds attention.
Our Approach
The new SophieVermeulen.com is unapologetically hers. Bold headlines. Clean frames. High-contrast visuals that let the ink speak. We anchored the experience in rhythm—scroll-forward storytelling with sharp image moments, project galleries, and a structure that makes exploring feel natural.
Behind the scenes, we designed a modular CMS so Sophie can easily update her gallery, publish travel dates, and manage booking inquiries on the fly. Less time on logistics. More time moving the needle.
