Capturing the Human Moment
Miki Kotoki is a Paris-based photographer known for evocative black-and-white street photography. Her previous site lacked emotional clarity and structure. The goal was to elevate her storytelling and create a space that amplified mood, minimalism, and movement, without distraction.

Our Approach
We designed a calm, monochrome experience that mirrors Miki’s ability to find poetry in the unnoticed. Built around a grid of layered imagery and scroll-controlled pacing, the site invites slower, deeper viewing. Each page puts the photograph first—supported by subtle transitions and whitespace that hold the emotional weight of her work.
A lightweight CMS allows Miki to upload new photo sets, add location stories, and manage her portfolio on her terms.
